Where do you want to go with your life? Any idea yet? Do you have a made-up dream life that constantly plays within in the confines of your mind or do you have absolute trust in the Universe? Do you believe you will have more freedom by controlling your outer circumstances or by letting go? I am here to say that you gain real freedom, the freedom of control that you always wished for but were never granted, all by surrendering and trusting the Universe.

This is not easy by any means. Just throwing your hands in the air and surrendering sounds like waving a white flag up high and giving up to most. It’s not though. It is the highest form of spirituality. You are surrendering to the present moment at hand. The only moment worth any currency; that is spiritual currency.

If you learn to align yourself with the present moment with a still mind, you will be able to access higher levels of creativity, grow your character faster, enjoy life more, become a better listener, create deeper friendships, learn to focus better and I can go on and on, but I would rather you have your own experience and share about it in the comments below.

There comes a time in everyone’s life where we must give up control if we want to be happy. We have to have trust in a higher-order, or we will go bat shit crazy just trying to bend reality to our desires. We have a lot of desires, don’t we? We want this situation to go this way and that situation to do that in order to get the only thing we all chase, but don’t even know it. Do you know what that is? I’ll tell you:

A constant state of happiness that doesn’t waver. One that just stays with us at all times.

Wouldn’t we throw out all of our desires in a flash just to trade them for that level of happiness? The answer is an astounding yes.

I’m here to tell you this is possible. I am by no means there yet, but the majority of the day I am very happy. This is all due to surrendering to the Universe and trusting the plan. This is what spirituality is about: Happiness.

That may sound out there and I empathize, but you have probably never experienced my perspective or have you? Just think quickly to a time you were in a state of elation. Now did you have more fear or trust? Were you flowing with what was or attempting to resist and control the outcome?

You might see in this example that the best parts of life are letting go. It’s like a dance. You have to let the movement move within you. You can’t carefully calculate all the steps in your head or you will look like a buffoon. In other words, you will look like a robot not trying to do a cool robot dance.

Continuing on this analogy, when dancing is your mind drifting ahead thinking about the future of the dance? If you are doing that you are not presently enjoying the main purpose of the dance. Your mind is skipping all the fun. That’s what we are doing to our lives when we are not living in the present moment. We are giving up the fun and the spontaneity that is packed ready to be released from the present moment.
