He is winning. He does what he wants when he wants. This makes sense to a lot of people, but it actually negatively affects him. You see when we have personal preferences and go against life, what we resist persists. There are always going to be things that you don't want to do in life, but we have to do them if we want to be able to sustain happiness. Part of doing what we don't want serves the greater whole. We must get outside ourselves if we want to live a happy life. Unfortunately, it's hard. We care so much and all we want is to feel safe and happy, but we cannot be happy until we let go. Let go of your preferences and just do the work of the moment and you will be free. The hardest thing to master in life, but with that comes the biggest reward. That is enlightenment.
