Finding Harmony with the Universe: How to Create a Ripple Effect of Positivity
Ever wonder what it would feel like if you were in harmony with the Universe? You can be, you just have to be willing to serve. Basically, serve with what is in your heart and you will create a ripple effect over time and can positively impact your reach. Basically what we need to do is align and take more right action. What is right action you ask? Right action is acting on a positive impulse that your inner wisdom or voice is directing you towards. This inner wisdom of ours is always there, but it’s whether you are sensitive enough to pick up on it and differentiate the message from your other ceaseless thoughts.
So what do you do? You have to start paying attention to your inner dialogue. Let your intuition direct your life even when things don’t make complete sense at the time. When we improve at listening to this inner voice by creating stillness within our minds, our lives also improve. By creating the space of stillness we can begin to notice our intuition communicating with us. At first, it’s hard to differentiate between other thoughts, but this one is kind and soft and will never create any negative emotions unless you resist it. The more you meditate the stronger and more distinct these thoughts of yours will become.
By listening to yourself eventually, you will start to impact your surroundings and those around you. Hopefully, you will harness the power to always try to make others feel good. It’s important to also be as helpful as you can in each scenario whether you feel up for the challenge to act. By making a habit of making the wise decisions time after time, you will begin to gain mental strength. As you strengthen this muscle that controls your willpower positive decisions will eventually become second nature. You should always ask yourself how can I authentically make that person feel great, especially if they are your significant other. Before you act or say anything ask yourself will this make the person feel great? If the answer is no, then don’t do it. It sounds very simple on paper, but it is super powerful in action. Try this. It works.
“If I only find joy in my own successes, I’m limiting my joy. But if I can take pleasure in the successes of my friends and family – ten, twenty, fifty people! I get to experience fifty times the happiness and joy.” – Jay Shetty
Another powerful tool is gratitude. There is now an abundance of negativity all around us. 2020 is a tough year, but that doesn’t mean we can’t improve our lives. How do we do that? Become more awake and notice the little things. There is so much more that goes right about your day than you realize. When you bring your attention to the positive and show gratitude, your life will improve drastically. Being grateful consistently will create a positive mindset that lasts throughout your day. It always outweighs any negative dialogue that you’re harboring.
It’s not always easy to be positive. Sometimes it’s really hard when that one or two things don’t go right in your day. Maybe it was a bad tip or what someone said. It could be anything. What I have learned is that sometimes the situation seems negative on the surface, but in actuality, you will gain something even greater in return especially if you push forth with a great attitude.
The next time you hear your intuition will you act or will it become drowned out with your other thoughts? A positive life awaits with right action, thoughtfulness, and gratitude. Choosing right action over resistance will determine the happiness in your life not your vacations, cars, sick bod, expensive restaurants, or a million-dollar bank account. That’s all secondary or meaningless.
Be you. Do you.
